FitzBuild’s story starts in Lennox Head, where founder Anthony Fitzpatrick began his carpentry apprenticeship in 2005. Over the years, he’s worked across residential and commercial projects, site supervised for leading local builders, and spent more than a decade in the film industry crafting detailed sets for major Hollywood productions. Today, FitzBuild combines that precision and creativity with a fourth-generation local’s understanding of the Northern Rivers, delivering builds that stand the test of time.

Born in Ballina Hospital and raised in east Ballina, Skennars & Lennox Head – Anthony’s connection to the Northern Rivers runs deep. With grandparents and great-grandparents who farmed in Tregeagle and gave back to the community, he brings the same local pride and dedication into every FitzBuild project.

With over a decade in the film industry, Anthony worked on major Hollywood productions including Pirates of the Caribbean, Thor: Ragnarok, Aquaman, Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla vs. Kong, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, and the upcoming Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.
From building intricate sets to creating hero pieces seen on camera, this experience honed his precision, creativity, and eye for detail — skills he now brings to FitzBuild as he leaves the film world behind to focus on building in the community that raised him.

Anthony began his carpentry apprenticeship locally at 16, gaining hands-on experience across residential, commercial, and high-end custom projects. After travelling the world and working as a leading hand and site supervisor, he spent over a decade alternating between major local builds and set construction for Hollywood films. In recent years, he has overseen high-end projects for respected Northern Rivers builders, refining the leadership and attention to detail that define FitzBuild today.
